About The Detroit Swedish Foundation, Inc.

The Detroit Swedish Foundation is one of the oldest organizations of its kind in America. We were chartered in 1966. Along with our colleagues in Philadelphia, San Francisco and Delaware, we are one of the founding members of the Swedish Council of America.

The mission of the Detroit-Swedish Foundation is to provide financial support to Swedish American organizations and individuals, located in Michigan, funding projects to preserve and celebrate our Swedish Heritage.
